Willie Lee Brookins, Jr. entered into heavenly rest on Saturday, May 7, 2016. He was 64 years of age. Willie was preceded in death by his wife, Tasha Ann Brooks Brookins, his parents Willie Lee Brookins, Sr. and Gaynell Renfroe Brookins, sister Betty Jean Brookins, sister May Lou Brookins Arnold.

Willie was a member of Ivey Baptist Church, Ivey, GA. He was a member of Gordon Masonic Lodge #240. He was a past master of this lodge as well. He was involved with the Masonic Home of Georgia. Willie was a prominent business man in Ivey, GA, where he resided for the last 47 years.

His family survivors include: Linda Nell Brookins Hubbard (Billy), Janice Brookins Allen, Patricia Ann Brookins Garrett (Ricky), Ben Brookins, Barbara Brookins, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6pm-8pm at the Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home in Gordon.

Funeral services will be at Ivey Baptist Church, Ivey, GA on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 1pm.

Willie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
