GORDON - Virginia Ann Branan Brooks, 87, of Brooks McNeal Rd., passed away Sunday at her residence.

Services will be held Tuesday May 15, 2018 at 11:00AM in Clear Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Dwayne Outlaw will officiate. Burial will be Private.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Macon, the daughter of the late Guy and Annie Mae Vincent Branan. She was the widow of the late Carl Jackson Brooks, and was preceded in death by her Sister Dorothy Dennard and her Brother Everett Branan. Mrs. Brooks was the former Co-Owner of Brooks Grocery in Gordon. She was a member of the Gordon United Methodist Church and attended Clear Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her Daughter, Brenda (Don) Arnold, and her Son, Paul (Debbie) Brooks. Grandchildren, Carlos Arnold, Iris Shepard, Durant Brooks. Great Grandchildren, Jackson Shepard, Jacie Shepard, Harper Brooks, and Maci Brooks.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 Tuesday before the service in the church.
