GORDON - Victor Lamar Jones, 71, passed away Thursday September 10, 2015

Funeral Services will be held Sunday September 13, at 3:00PM at the Chapel of Couey - Reece - Stanley Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Walker and Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating, Burial will follow in Ramah Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was a native of Winston County, Mississippi, but made his home in Gordon for the past 45 years. He was retired from Colonial Pipe Line, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Day.

Survivors include his Wife, Barbara Blanton Jones of Gordon. Two Daughters, Patricia J. (Kenny) Jones of Forsyth, and Robin J. (Brad) Hixon of Moody, AL. Sister, Catherine Jennings of Ft. Payne, AL, and a Brother James (Patty) Jones of Columbus, MS. Eight Grandchildren, Cody Griffin, J.R. Herring, Jr., Kade Jones, Avery Askew, Noah Askew, Ryder Hixon, Kole Jones, and Zac Hixon. A number of nieces and nephews.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Lung Association.

The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 Saturday in Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home
