GORDON - Sibyl Lavender Kinchen, 90, passed away Wednesday January 8, 2014.

Services will be held Saturday January 11, 2014 at 3:30 PM in First Baptist Church Gordon. Rev. Maxie Threatt and Rev. Paul Curry will officiate. Burial will be in Ramah Cemetery.

Mrs. Kinchen was born in Irwinton, GA, the daughter of the late Julian Homer and Johnnie Jones Lavender. She was the widow of the late Lee Willis Kinchen. Mrs. Kinchen was a retired Dental Assistant with Central State Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church Gordon.

Survivors include her Daughter, Beverly (Ray) Wilson, and her Son, Larry Lee (Donna) Kinchen. Four Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:30PM to 3:30PM Saturday before services in First Baptist Church Gordon.
