Royce Emory Brewer "Bud", 66, of Brewer Rd., Irwinton, GA left his earthly farm to join his wife of 45 years, Cathy, on August 16, 2023.

Royce was born on November 15, 1956, in Macon, GA, the youngest son to the late Willie Clyde and Louise Brewer. He was preceded in death by his brothers Lerner, JC, Bill, Don, and his sister Ann. Royce spent his entire life living and serving in Wilkinson County, as well as providing for his wife and family. He began his career at Freeport-Engelhart before starting his own successful home building business. Shortly after retirement, Royce was elected as Wilkinson County Commissioner Chairman.

Survivors include his daughters Jennifer (Michael) Bloodworth and Kristen (Shane) DuPree, his four spoiled rotten grandchildren, Cadence and Caylee Bandows and Blake and Gauge DuPree. Royce was a beloved brother of Lou (Rodney), Kathy, Mae (Keith), Donna, Connie, and sister-in-laws Sherri (Dennis) and Donna. He was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, as well as lifelong friends. Royce also leaves behind a number of farm animals and fur babies on his farm.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Couey- Reece- Stanley Funeral Home. Casual Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 5 p.m. at White Springs Baptist Church in Gordon.
