Robert Murray Ethridge, Jr. age 89, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 19th at Hardies Chapel Church Cemetery with Dean Wallace officiating.

Bobby was born in Gray, Georgia on January 13, 1936, to the late Robert Murray Ethridge, Sr. and Lucille Brown Ethridge.

He was an Entomologist and retired from the Georgia Department of Agriculture. He was preceded in death by a son Robert Ethridge, III and a sister Doris Copelan, and was a member of Hardies Chapel Church. Bobby was known a simple man and a jack of all trades.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte W. Ethridge of Gordon.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Jones County Animal Rescue or Compass Hospice.
