Mary Lois Mixon Toler, age 83, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14th at the chapel of Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Hardie's Chapel Cemetery.

Ms. Toler was born in Gordon, Georgia on July 27, 1941, to the late Elam Mixon and Havis Smallwood Mixon. She lived most of her life in Gordon but had made her home in Florida for the past 7 years. She was a retired employee of Central State Hospital where she worked in the Veterans Unit. Mary loved and adored her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Corley, stepsister Ruth Roach, and stepbrother Carl Taylor.

Survivors include a son Randy Veal of Madison, two daughters Marcia Beck (Mike) of Gordon, and Beth Langford (Wayne) of Irwinton, stepbrother Flavil Taylor of Gordon, four grandchildren Kyle Swicord (Emily), Jalen Beck (Trey), Peyton Beck and Michael Langford, five great grandchildren Austin Langford, Chance Langford, Tinsley Swicord, Brystol Beck, Tuxsyn Beck, one great- great grandchild Tate Langford and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
