The death of Mrs. Martha Jean Jackson Mosley, age 90, occurred Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Wrightsville.  Services will be held Monday, August 30, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Gordon First Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Hogg officiating.  Burial will follow in Ramah Cemetery.

Mrs. Mosley was a lifelong resident of Gordon; she was the daughter of John Rogers Jackson and Mattie Mae Veal Jackson.  She taught English for over 26 years in the Wilkinson County School, Jonesco Academy and Laurens County Schools.  She was a member of the Gordon First Baptist Church and Ivey Baptist Church having taught Sunday School for a number of years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dennis Mosley, and a son Dennis Rogers Mosley.

Survivors include her sons, Paul C. Mosley of Gordon and Bill Dennis Mosley of Jacksonville, FL., five grandchildren, Leigh, Miranda, Paul Joseph "PJ", Eva, and Andrew Seith, seven great grandchildren and a number of cousins.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
