Marcia Hawthorne Wilson, 67, of Lee St., passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, in Macon.

Services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home.  Rev. Billy Taylor and Harold Reece, Jr, will officiate.  Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Macon, GA the daughter of the late Frank and Patty Upshaw Hawthorne, and was preceded in death by a sister Pam Brown, a son Jason Ussery and her loving husband of 43 years, Gerald L. Wilson, all of Gordon.  Marcia was an Administrative Assistant for the Wilkinson County School System Transportation Department for over thirty years.  She was a member of the Gordon Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter, Chasity (Brian) Cole.  Grandchildren, Caitlyn (Blake) Martin, Bryson Cole and Jaycee Ussery.  Special Furbaby Puddles and her Great Granddog Chloe.  Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday in the funeral home.
