Linda Willene Fountain Davis age 80, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25 ^th at the chapel of Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. Maxie Threatt and Rev. Aaron Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Ramah Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis was born in Macon, Georgia on November 2, 1940, to Walter F. Fountain and Lorene Bloodworth Fountain. She started her career working at Robins Air Force Base. In 1959 she started working with J.P. Stevens as secretary in the Accounting Division. She later worked with J.C. Penny and then the Georgia Department of Corrections. She was a member of Gordon First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was everything to her and her strong faith in God carried her throughout her life.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years Harold L. Davis of Milledgeville, a son Troy Davis (Shale') of Palo Pinto, TX; grandchildren, Dusty Davis (Valeskiu) of Atlanta, Sydney Easton (Avery) of Gainesville, Wyatt Davis, Derek Davis and Savanah Davis all of Palo Pinto, TX, brothers-in-law, more like her brothers, Terry Davis and Kenny Davis.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home.

Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Encompass Hospice, Gordon First Baptist Church or Baldwin Salen Baptist Church.
