The death of Mr. Kevin Lee Rauscher, age 59, occurred Wednesday, April 22, 2020.  Private Graveside services will be held Sunday afternoon 2:00 PM at Ramah Cemetery with Rev. Freddie Hogg officiating

Kevin was a lifelong resident of Wilkinson County and served Wilkinson County for many years.  He was a 1978 graduate of Gordon-Ivey School and attended Georgia College. He served as music leader at Big Sandy Baptist Church for a number of years and was a member of the Ivey Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Leo Rauscher and Mary Frances English Rauscher and a sister-in-law Kay Cooper Rauscher.

Survivors include his wife Penny Rauscher of Gordon, his son Lee Rauscher of Milledgeville, and daughter Crystal Turner of Gordon, two brothers Don Rauscher (Marsha) of Dallas, GA and Art Rauscher of Gray, a lifelong friend Cara Smith Turner of Milledgeville, a number of nephews and cousins and his fur babies, Nelli, Grits, and Sadie.

The family request in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Penfield Christian Home 1061 Mercer Circle, Union Point, GA 30669 or the Ivey Baptist Church 107 Church Street, Ivey, GA  31031.

Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home in Gordon is in charge of arrangements.
