Karen Elizabeth Grimes

GORDON - Karen Elizabeth Grimes, 58, passed away Wednesday May 11, 2016.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday May 14, 2016 at 1:00PM at Ramah Cemetery. Rev. Paul Curry, Jr. will officiate.

Karen was born in Milledgeville, but made her home in Gordon. She worked for the Georgia Academy for the Blind. She was a graduate of Willkinson County High School and was a member of the National Jr. Beta Club. Karen was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gordon where she played the piano for the children's choir for many years.

Survivors include her parents Raymond and Charlotte Grimes of Gordon. Her Sister Kathy Christman of Gordon and several cousins.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 until 12:30pm at Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home.
