Gerald Dean "Jerry" Garner, Jr., 64, of the James Community, passed away Thursday in Macon.

Services will be held Tuesday May 3, 2022 at 6:00PM at Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home in Gordon.  Rev. Gary Thomas will officiate.

Mr. Garner was born in Macon, GA the son of the late Gerald Dean Garner Sr. and Sarah Jo Stillwell Garner.  Jerry was retired from BASF and was a former manager of the Piggly Wiggly in Gordon.  He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Turner Garner.  Children, G. Dean Garner and Ashley Garner (Willie) Griggs.  Six Grandchildren, Cameron, Rebecca, Noah, Caleb, Faith, and Hope.  Sisters, Dovie (Mickey) Matheny, and Shirley (Rod) Sorensen. Numerous Nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 6:00PM Tuesday before the service.
