The death of Mr. Floyd Scarbrough, age 83, occurred Sunday, April 17, 2022, in a Macon Hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 ^th at Snow Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Scarbrough was a native of Dooley County but has made his home in Wilkinson County for over sixty years. He was retired heavy equipment mechanic and a veteran of the U.S. Army; He was a member and deacon of Snow Hill Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie Stokes Scarbrough, two sons Scott Scarbrough (Tammy), and Keith Scarbrough (Karen) all of Gordon, a brother Ivey Thomas Scarbrough of Danville and a sister Grace Smith of Lumber City, three grandchildren Terri Faircloth, Curtis Sanderfer, and Wesley Garrison, and six great grandchildren also survive.

The family will be at Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home in Gordon Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:00 for friends to call.
