Esta Delana McPherson Thomas age 52, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7 ^th at Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Snow and Rev. Timothy Peavy officiating. Burial will follow at Baptist Gospel Mission Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 4, 1970, to the late Alvin McPherson and Ruth McPherson. She was preceded in death by a daughter Izzetia Thomas and her stepfather Paul Swoveland.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years Terry Thomas of Macon, three sons Austin Hartley of Gordon, Lamar Thomas of Huntsville, AL and Matthew Haislip of Michigan, two daughters Megan Hartley of Gordon and Elizabeth Butler of West Virginia, three brothers Steve McPherson (Joyce) of Gurley, AL, Timothy McPherson (Cathy) and Frankie McPherson both of Huntsville, AL, a sister Sue Wallace of Michigan, five grandchildren, Aiden Veal, Julian Veal, Avarie Jennings, Elijah Haislip and Rebecca Haislip.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
