Emma Frances Blessett

IRWINTON - Emma Frances Frazier Blessett, 91, passed away Friday in Toomsboro.

Services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 11:00am in the chapel of Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home in Gordon. Burial will be in the McIntyre Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Terry Moseley and Pastor Bill Ayers will officiate.

Mrs. Blessett was born in East Juliette, GA, the daughter of the late James Walter and Leslie Lee Griffin Frazier. She was the widow of the late Joseph Ben Blessett and was preceded in death by her Daughters, Rebecca Sue "Becky" Blessett and Brenda Darnell Norton, and her Grandson, Troy Cordeiro, also by her Brother and Sisters, Quinton H. Frazier, Helen Cochran, Jeannette Greer and Ginny Porter, and her Son in laws, Junior Harrison and Cary Hopson. She was a retired Mill Worker with J.P. Stevens Company, and was a member of Mabel White Baptist Church.

Survivors include her Daughter, Rita Faye Hopson. Sisters Margarita (George) Marsh, and Teresa (Ted) Montgomery. Grandchildren, Joseph "Joey" Patrick Richards, Timothy Ray "Timmy" Richards, Brian "Keith" Landrum and Sheri Dee Joiner. Seven Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Monday in the funeral home.
