Loren Edward "Eddie" Barrett age 77, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Services will be private.

Mr. Barrett was born in Huntington, West Virginia on October 20, 1943, to Ralph Barrett and Mildred June Wiley Barret. He had made his home in Gordon since 1978. He was retired from Hayes Mechanical. After his retirement he loved to work on cars and operated Barrett's Welding. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Sam Barrett, a brother Ralph Barrett, Jr., and a stepson Michael Fabrizio.

Survivors include his wife Linda Barrett of Gordon, a son Jason Barrett (Denise) of Gordon and a stepson Marlin Fabrizio of Byron, a brother Danny Barrett of Gordon, three grandchildren, Cole Barrett, Carleigh Barrett, and Remmington Barrett, three step grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home of Gordon has charge of arrangements.
