Dorothy Hawthorne LaPlante, 93, passed away Saturday in Perry.

Graveside services will be held Saturday September 19, 2020 at 11:00AM in Hardies Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery.  Bob Mylan will officiate.

Mrs. LaPlante was born in Gordon, GA the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ada Taylor Hawthorne.  She was the widow of the late Frederick Albert "Fred" LaPlante and was preceded in death by her son Frederick A. LaPlante, Jr. and by Five Brothers and Four Sisters.  Mrs. LaPlante was a Homemaker, a Farmer, and an Artist.  She was a member of Hardies Chapel Church of Christ.

Survivors include her Daughter, Kathy (Shane) Sparks, and her Son Don (Doug Aldridge) LaPlante.  Grandchildren, Jenny Cash, Tonya Pittman, Tanner Sparks, and Preston Sparks.   Great Grandchildren, Cason Pittman and Mallory Pittman.  Several Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friend from 10:00AM to 11:00AM before the service in the cemetery.
