Funeral services for Dian Elaine Carswell Evans, age 69 will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Irwinton Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Gary Horton will officiate.

Mrs. Evans was born on February 20, 1947 in Irwinton, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late George Hill and Buena Hatfield Carswell. She was a member of Irwinton Baptist Church. She was a member of the Quilting Group. She was a retired Nurse for Central State Hospital. Mrs. Evans passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Serenity Place in Dublin.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her 2 sons, Josh Evans, and Greg Evans, 2 daughters, Erin (Ted) Darling, and Kimberly (Bobby) Nuckols, 2 brothers, Kenneth (Pam) Carswell, and George (Mary) Carswell, 2 sisters, Elizabeth (B.J.) Hazlewood, and Lauratta( Preston) Evans, and 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Irwinton Baptist Church.
