The death of Denise Vinson May, age 58, occurred Sunday, March 19, 2017, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at the chapel of Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home with burial to follow at McIntyre Baptist Church Cemetery. Denise was a lifelong resident of Wilkinson County and worked as a waitress for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Joyce Womack Vinson and 5 brothers and sisters, Charles, Dana, Debra, Anita and Kim. She was a member of the McIntyre Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Casey Sweat (Jamie Lynn) of Gordon, Amy Williams (Colby) of Toomsboro, and Kristy Johnson (Fred Bell) of Irwinton, brother Carl Cecil (Boo Boo) Vinson of Irwinton, sister Wanda Dean of McIntyre, 2 grandchildren, Gabe Warnock, and Jaida Shae Bell.
