Delora Benford Reid age 74, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, at Snow Hill Church with Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ms. Reid was born in Gordon Georgia to Joseph Cosby Benford and Anna Gertrude McCullough Benford. She was a retired employee of Central State Hospital. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Anthony Omer Reid, a sister Nona Bedford Sloan, her husband Walter Eugene Reid. She was a member of Snow Hill Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son William Jonathan Reid of Gordon, two daughters Regina Reid Wilkes of Macon and Dana Reid Cruz of Gordon, two brothers John Bedford of Milledgeville and Delmar Bedford of Macon, three grandchildren Rafael Cruz, Joseph Cruz and Evan Cruz.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home.
