IVEY - Connie McCook Etheridge, 94 of Jackson Rd., passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017

Services will be held Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 10:30AM in Ivey Baptist Church. Burial will be in Snow Hill Church Cemetery. Rev. Freddie Hogg will officiate.

Mrs. Etheridge was born in McIntyre, GA the daughter of the late Joseph Redic and Mamie Lord McCook. She was the widow of the late John Thomas Etheridge, and was preceded in death by her son Ray and grandson Tom. Connie touched the lives of many people in the area during her 94 years and was active in church and community activities. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cutting grass on her riding lawn mower. Connie loved the Lord, her family, and friends. She was a member of Ivey Baptist Church

Survivors include her children, Roy (Carol), daughter in law Janice, Dona (Dennis Tucker), and Joe; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; sister Mona Eady, sisters-in-law Louise Etheridge and Lucy Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ivey Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday in the funeral home
