Charles Dennis Moore age 66 passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 16 at Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. W.C. Bloodworth and Rev. Samille Jackson officiating. Dennis was born on February 27, 1950 in Milledgeville but made his home in Gordon. He was an electrician by trade and a softball coach by heart. He was also Past Master of Gordon Masonic Lodge #240. Survivors include his wife, Jerri; his daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Andy Smith; his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Amy Moore; his granddaughters Alanna and Alyssa Turner as well as 5 step-grandchildren; his sister Nancy; two brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home as well as an hour before the service on Saturday morning. Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
