The death of Mrs. Catherine Pittman Brooks, age 89, occurred Sunday, October 27, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30 ^th at Clear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Outler officiating. Burial will follow in Ivey Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Brooks was born in Macon but lived in Gordon and Ivey most of her life.  She was retired employee of Keebler and a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm L. Brooks and son Mike Brooks; two sisters, Elizabeth Richardson and Eleanor Pittman.

Survivors include her son Andy Brooks of Gordon, grandchildren, Kevin Brooks (Eli), Jeremy Brooks (Amanda), and Arlene Brooks, all of Gordon, her daughter-in-law Joann Brooks of St. George, GA;  great grandchildren: Logan Brooks, Gracie Brooks, Travis Brooks, Catie Brooks, Drew Brooks, Mika Stamps, and Dwayne Stamps.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home.
