The death of Brenda Lord Freeman age 63, occurred Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in Austin, TX. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 27, 2015 from the Ivey Baptist Church with burial to follow in Snow Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Freeman was a native of Gordon but has made her home in Austin for 34 years and was the Director of Claims Mediation.

with the doctors company and was a member of the West Oak Woods Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Otha and Lavonia Myrick Lord and a brother Murray Lanier Lord.

Survivors include her husband Steve Freeman of Austin, a son, Greg Freeman of Austin, two daughters, Laurien Smith of Cedar Park, and Megan Trad of Austin, four grandchildren, Charles Levi Trad, Lucas Murray Trad, Charlotte Paige Smith, and Parker Brynn Smith.

The family will receive friends Friday evening June 26, from 6 until 8 at Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home in Gordon, GA.
