Billie Phillips McDaniel age 91, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June28, 2023 at the chapel of Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Browher and Rev. Winston Vaughn officiating. Private burial will follow at the McDaniel Family Cemetery.

Mrs. McDaniel was born in Toomsboro, Georgia on January 21, 1932, to the late Joseph Weldon Phillips and Nina Mae Underwood. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Huckabee Buick-Cadillac, and later at Jet Food Store until she retired at age 75. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl McDaniel, a daughter Carlene McDaniel, and a grandson Hubert McKenzie, brothers, Junior Phillips, James Phillips, Larry Phillips, and Claudie Phillips and two sisters Hilda Loyd and Bobbie Daniel. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter Karen McDaniel-Feagle (Clay) of Danville, two brothers Ray Phillips (Gloria) of Macon, and Donald Phillips of Sequim, WA, a sister Joyce Vinson of McIntyre, two grandchildren Jake McDaniel (Jennifer) and Jeremy McDaniel (Cheryl) both of McIntyre, one great grandchild Aliza and several cousins and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home.
