Virginia Anne Brewer Taylor age 73, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021. Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 26th at White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tom Alexander officiating.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Gordon, Georgia, on November 15, 1947, to Willie Clyde Brewer and Mary Louise Coxwell Brewer. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers J.C. Brewer, Lurner Brewer, Bill Brewer, and Don Happoldt. She was a member of White Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Oscar Fleming Taylor, Jr. of Irwinton, a brother Royce Brewer of Gordon, four sisters Lou Webb of Adrian, Kathy Thompson, Mae Hammock (Keith) and Donna Brewer all of Irwinton.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home in Gordon.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1349 White Springs Church Rd., Gordon, GA 31031.
