Alvin Leroy Lyles, age 89, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29th at Ramah Cemetery.

Mr. Lyles was born in Macon, Georgia on January 29, 1935, to the late James Franklin Lyles and Alma Belle Valentine Lyles. He served in the United States Navy for 10 years and then worked with Central State Hospital until his retirement. Mr. Lyles was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Lyles, two brothers Virgil Lyles and Robert Lyles and a sister Doris Shepherd.

Survivors include three sons Robert Lyles (Cindy) of Milledgeville, Loren Lyles (Erin) of San Diego, CA and Randy Lyles (Carol) of Gray, seven grandchildren Robert, Natasha, Drew, Holden, Colby, Gabriale, and Olivia, 10 great grandchildren, special niece Vivian Howard and a number of other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home.
