MCINTYRE, GA - Alton L. (Bo) Loyd age 87, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. Services will be held at 3PM Tuesday, January 24, at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Hershel Standard, Rev. Roger Bower and Dr. Morris Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Loyd was born in Ozark, AL but had made his home in Wilkinson County for many years. He was the owner and operator of Loyd Oil Company since 1962. He was a member and deacon of Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Allen C. Loyd and Narrie Stapleton Loyd, his first wife Dorothy Grinstead Loyd, a grandson Adam Coussons, siblings, J.T. Loyd, Allen C. Loyd, Jr., Annie Laura Loyd, Myrtle Hatfield, Gertrude Loyd, Velta Bates and Virgil Loyd.

Survivors include his wife Annie Mason Loyd of McIntyre, two daughters Carol Ann Payne (Truitt) of Danville and Cathy Coussons (Tommy) of Danville, grandchildren, Brad Coussons (Renee) of Danville and Andrew Toler of Irwinton, two great grandchildren, Logan Coussons and Jared Toler, two brother-in-laws, Larry Mason of McIntyre and Harold Mason (Brenda) of Milledgeville, three sister-in-laws Winnie Mason Wood (Morris) of Gray, Jackie J. Mason of McIntyre and Jackie Loyd of Gray.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2PM until the funeral hour at Liberty Baptist Church.

Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association.
