The death of Mrs. Alma Elizabeth Jeanes, age 86, occurred Friday, January 14, 2022, in a Dublin Hospital. Graveside services will be

Monday January 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM from Snow Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kim Jeanes officiating.

Mrs. Jeanes was born September 23, 1935, to Fred O'Neal Brown and Fannie Clarine Bullington Brown. She was a lifelong resident of Wilkinson County and was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Lee Jeanes and was a member of the Laurel Branch Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son Lee Jeanes, her daughter Lynn Stripling both of Gordon, sister Mary Ann Layton of Gordon. 2 grandchildren Ashley Townsend (Jimmy) and Brandi Stripling, 4 great grandchildren, Jade Townsend, Richard Townsend, Phillip Townsend, and Michael Townsend.
